TRAFFIC RESTRICTIONS IN PRAGUE 1 AREA ON THE RACE DAY
On Saturday the 7th of September 2024, Prague streets will be full of runners from all over the world. The adidas Women’s Race 5 km starts at 6 p.m. at the náměstí Republiky, 7:30 p.m. is the start time of the Birell 10 km Race. The courses of both races are described on the first page of this leaflet.
CLOSURES:
The closed areas and exact times are indicated on the back side of this leaflet. This big sport event brings traffic closures, which are controlled by the Police of the CR, and they go as following:
- 4:30 p.m. – 10 p.m. – Na Příkopě, náměstí Republiky, Václavské náměstí;
- 5:30 p.m. – 9 p.m. – Revoluční, nábřeží Edvarda Beneše, Štefanikův most, Čechův most, nábřeží Kpt. Jaroše (way to centre), Letenský tunel;
- 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. – Rohanské nábřeží, Dvořákovo nábřeží, nábřeží Ludvíka Svobody, Těšnovský tunel, Lannova str., Nové mlýny
NO PARKING:
Stopping the car is forbidden on the whole race route and will lead to the car towing. Please find another parking place and avoid any problems with the car towing. In case if it happens, please contact the Prague City Police on line 156 and follow the instructions.
