Nicholas Bor records a RunCzech Racing victory in Wurzburg 10K
On Sunday, April 13th, RunCzech Racing athletes - Million Feyssa, Nicholas Bor and Benson Motto recorded varied performances in Wurzburg 10K, which is to be expected from developing athletes who compete back-to-back in Europe.
Over 5,800 runners were greeted by a sunny day and 15°C and with wind which picked up just before the start. Course (four 2.5km loops) was relatively hard, with a long climb which was mixed with some flat areas and then followed by a decent downhill.
RunCzech Racing athletes, Million Feyssa, Nicholas Bor and Benson Motto recorded varied performances, which is to be expected from developing athletes who compete back-to-back in Europe.
At the same time, we are happy to report that Nicholas Bor recorded a strong win (28:16), dominating the early group and then breaking clear and letting competitors fall off the pace.
Million Feyssa finished in 8th place with 29:28, while Benson Motto was 14th with 31:12.
This was second overall RunCzech Racing appearance (after exciting debut at 2014 Sportisimo Prague Half Marathon) and a very first victory and first competition outside Czech Republic!
