By right it is considered to be one of the most beautiful marathons in the world, which every year attract thousands of runners from all over the globe. The race capacity of 10 000 runners is always filled in advance, so not everyone wishing to run the Prague Marathon has the opportunity. That is the reason why organizers of the RunCzech Running League decided in 2016 to launch the second marathon in Prague. The same start line, the same race course, just a bit different way of running the marathon.

„For us this is the next step in attracting more people to get moving and running. Thus we can show the whole world, how wonderful the city of Prague is, especially when its streets are full of people running a marathon. This is also the best way to present Prague as the European Capital of Sport of 2016,” says President of Organizing Committee Carlo Capalbo.

We will reveal more information about the project on the 17th of September, the date of the world premiere.

The gala evening will also be the opening of registration for the next season, presentation of the novelties for 2016 and also RunCzech Stars, i.e. runners who managed to run all seven races of the RunCzech Running League.
