Jakob Medved

Christine grew up in Trans-Nzoia County. She started running in hight school at the age of 17 and was selected for the regional team a few times. She is the only runner in her family, and her role model is Faith Kipyegon. When she isn’t training or competing, she works at her family’s maize farm.
Miriam Chebet

Miriam Chebet - KEN30:40 - Ibiza 2024

Miriam is a 21 year old Kenyan and member of the ASICS Chojo Project. She competes mainly over 10km but this year made an impressive half marathon debut in Istanbul, running 67:14 to finish second. She also competes over 5km, on both the roads and track and occasionally cross country. She is currently ranked number 22 in the World Athletics Road Running rankings, and will be looking to go close to 30 minutes over 10km in Prague.

Samantha Harrison

Samantha Harrison - GBR, 30:51 - Valencia 2023

Samantha started running competitively in 2018 and can be considered a late comer to the sport. Over her 6 years of competitive running she progressed to become the 5th fastest all-time British athlete over 10km, holding a personal best of 30:51 from January 2023. This proved to be her most successful year to date, also running half marathon and marathon personal bests of 67:08 and 2:25:59. The 2024 however, has been a challenging year for Samantha, overcoming an injury that has kept her from racing since October 2023. The Birell Prague GP 10km provides a great opportunity for Samantha to return to racing and join a competitive field. She will be looking to test herself and set a benchmark for the year ahead.

I've started running 9 years old, and fell in love with this beautiful sport. I've had some great successes since young age. I've won bronze medal at the Youth Olympics in 2014 on 2000m steeplechase, and a silver medal in 2017 at the European Cross Country Championship. In 2021, at age 22 I've qualified for the Tokyo Olympics where I've ran a big pb and almost reached the final (18th place). In 2023, I've finished 8th at the European Games on the 1500, and represented Hungary at the World Championship on this event. In 2024, I ran a PB 31:56 on the 10km and had some great cross country races - where I'm ranked 19th in the World right now.
